For the past week and a half, I have had a problem with Cydia. Whenever I opened it, it would crash back to the springboard. The fix for this is surprisingly simple. Now, before you do this you must have either iFile installed (on your iDevice) or Total Commander installed (on your PC).

To fix Cydia, follow these steps.

1. Navigate to: private/var/lib/dpkg/updates folder with iFile or Total Commander.

2. Look for the files “tmp.i” and “000″

3. Delete these files.

4. Open up Cydia and smile. <– Like that!
